Introducing Belleville Chiropractor Dr. James Enyart
My journey into chiropractic began in 1997. I experienced an episode of back pain that was so excruciating I could not walk without the aid of crutches. After a neurological consult, my family medical doctor referred me to a local chiropractor for the treatment of three herniated lumbar discs. At first, I was extremely skeptical. Reluctantly I made an appointment and I was simply amazed at the results I received through chiropractic care. I decided that I wanted to help others as I was helped with chiropractic care.
My undergraduate education was completed at Southern Illinois University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with honors in 1997. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic.
After completing my undergraduate coursework, I entered the Doctor of Chiropractic Program at Logan College of Chiropractic. At Logan, I found my classes in Biochemistry to be especially challenging, but rewarding. When I completed my Clinical Nutrition coursework, I greatly appreciated those same courses in Biochemistry to understand how Nutrition plays a pivotal role biochemically in health and disease processes.
This year I have the great honor of holding 2 positions with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life-Belleville. I am the Mission Delivery Chairperson, as well as the event Co-Chair. In addition, I enjoy giving health and nutrition lectures to local community organizations and businesses. Feel free to contact me if your business or organization needs a speaker.
